Designed to fully wrap around the pallet load and thermally protect from heat loss or gain.

Dynachill Thermal Plus foil pallet covers provide solar radiation protection to temperature controlled goods when exposed to direct sunlight. This is the primary cause of temperature excursions.

 

This waterproof foil cover has high heat and solar resistant qualities which virtually eliminates the transfer of heat to the goods within.

 

It is designed to be single use, although it can be reused if the base sheet is not sealed to the cover.

DynaChill is designed for transporting temperature controlled pharmaceutical, medical, perishable and electronic goods, used within the frozen (-20C), chilled (2-8C) and controlled ambient (15-25C) temperature ranges.

 

Laminated layers

  • Metallised polyethylene (MET PET) is stronger and more reflective than foil. It reflects more than 95% of the thermal energy from the sun.
  • Low density polythene (LDPE) provides the strength giving a high puncture resistance and tearresistance.

What are my options for transporting temperature sensitive goods?

The four main transport methods are ROAD, RAIL, SEA and AIR.

All these methods are selected for different reasons with sea freight being the cheapest and is considered the most eco-friendly, but it takes a lot longer than the other options partly due to delays at port and time taken to unload the ships.

How does a foil pallet cover keep stuff cool?

In the context of transporting temperature sensitive goods, most temperature spikes are caused by exposure to direct sunlight.

The reflective 'foil' outer provides excellent protection against this heat from radiation.

How do I decide what is the best thermal cover option for me?

Obviously we can help you with this, but here are some key points that will help you decide.

  • Will you be able to reuse the cover, or is it being used to protect a delivery to a customer and it will not be feasible to get the cover returned?
  • How many days will your product be outside a controlled environment?
  • What is the method of transportation? Road, sea or air?
  • Does your product require the temperature to be kept between 2 degrees Celcius and 8 degrees Celcius? Or will the temperature range be 15 degrees C to 25 degrees C?
  • Do you currently have issues with temperature spikes?
